The monument to Luigi Pirandello, created in 2004 by the artist Gianluca Bagliano, is the direct testimony to the attachment and love he had for the Italian writer and poet dammaturge towards Soriano nel Cimino, his summer stays and his tangible attachment to the Cimini hills.
The Soriano cemetery, the oldest part of which was planted in 1873, stands next to the former convent of Santa Maria del Poggio. The interior preserves precious burials belonging to illustrious families of Soriano, dating back to the early twentieth century.
The spread of Christianity in the Cimina area is linked, in its initial phase, to the Holy Martyr Eutizio (III-IV century), who, on a tuff hill not far from the town of Soriano, had catacombs built, to the burial of the dead.
Inside the garden located in Piazzale della Repubblica, stands the monument to the fallen of the First World War (1915-1918), a tribute by the Municipal Administration of Soriano to the victims of the conflict, it was built in 1925.
In the small gardens at the corner between Piazzale della Repubblica and Via Ernesto Monaci there is a monument to the Partisans who fell in the Second World War: it is a work consisting of a small access stairway, which leads to a platform on which two pillars stand. in stone in support of a plaque dated 1956.
In the Rione della Rocca, along the road that goes up to the castle, stands the Baroque aedicule, improperly called Sant’Anna.
In the village of Soriano, along the road that leads to the castle, there is an open space, called “Cuna di Santa Rosa” (cradle), where a shrine commemorates the place of penance and prayer of Santa Rosa da Viterbo.
