TORRE DELL’OROLOGIO (also known as Torre del ponte)
HISTORY AND DESCRIPTION
After passing the entrance of Porta Ponte, you reach the village, with alleys that alternate medieval, Renaissance and Baroque houses. Here stands the nineteenth-century Clock Tower: a stone structure characterized at the bottom by a pre-existing arch that leads to the oldest part of the town. Not far from the arched opening is the Orsini family crest.
